VERY PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT LONG TIME SS STUDENT CASSIDY GUSTAFSON HAS ACCEPTED THE SOFTBALL SCHOLARSHIP OFFER FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF PACIFIC (UOP). CASSIDY HAS BEEN A STUDENT OF SS SINCE SHE WAS 9. CASS CURRENTLY PLAYS FOR THE FIRECRACKERS.

2011 TOY 4 TOTS CHAMPIONS
12U AA's (McCowan) went undefeated and finished at 7-0-1 in the Toys 4 Tots Christmas Tournament. With the title game tied at 2-2 and in ITB, the lights went out Alicia Fields and tournament directors declared the AA's and Sun Devils as co-champs. Nice job to the entire team and my three amigos who handled all the pitching chores. SS Students Krya, Meggy, and Mia. ( Picture coming soon)

NOV 2011 TURKEY TOURNAMENT CHAMPS
Rancho Trabuco 8u "Rattlers" ( pictured)and Mission Viejo's "Team Chaos" were locked in a 0-0 tie when the rains came and forced the championship game to be stopped. Thus both teams were declared co-champs.
Congrads to all SS students. Cadi Williams, Ali Steinker, Trish Balser ( RTGS Rattlers) and SS student Ali Herber ( MVGS Chaos.)

2011 MONSTER MASH CHAMPS...
L-R Mia,Kyra, and Meggy pitched all 7 games and the AA's went 7-0, defeating the Firecrackers 5-3 to take home the title in San Diego.

Kayla Kmett, whos plays for the 14u "Pure Fastpitch" Organization, reached 60mph at recent pitching session. Nice job Kayla!!

SS student Cadi Williams proudly displays her 1st place medal that she won at the Pumpkin Classic tournament. Cadi pitched a complete game shutout over Huntington Beach in the finals to help the "Rattlers" take home the championship.
Rancho Trabuco 8u "Rattlers" took home 1st place at recent Pumpkin Classic in Orange. Congrads to the entire team and SS students Allie, Cadi, and Trish.

With SS Student "Mac" Martin toeing it in the circle,Mission Viejo's "Team Crush" cliamed 2nd place at the recent "Fall Brawl Tournament." Mac had 15K's in 15 innings of work.

SS Students Meggy McClune, Mia Guevarra, and Kyra Snyder celebrate after claiming 1st place over the weekend. For the weekend, the AA's went 6-0 with
Kyra going 3-0 with 17 k's, Meggy going 2-0 with 8 k's, and Mia going 1-0 with 4 k's. Congrads to the team and the coaching staff.

SS student Cassidy Gustafson celebrates with her teamates as the 16u Firecrackers took home the National Title at Premier. Cassidy hit a 2-run home run in the championship game.

SS student Jil Jelnick with Coach Gary at recent hitting session. Jil will be heading back to the University of East Carolina next week to start her sophmore season with the pirates. We wish her continued success.

Team San Clemente (10u) takes home the Silver Medal in the 2011 State Games of America.
Congrads to SS student Raeonna Flores and the entire team and coaching staff. Raeonna went 2-0 in the circle, helping the team to their 2nd place finish.
